Wedding Bell! | Beach Wedding at Sepat Village House Kuantan

Woah, I can't believe that I actually procrastinate for the whole three months to update about my wedding! yes, you read that right. I iz married, last September, can you believe that? It was just a small celebration between family and friends as I believe that weddings are personal and intimate. So you gotta share those kind of things to the ones who are close to you, right?

I always knew that I wanted my wedding to be outdoor. I never really liked big halls as wedding venue personally. But boy, hard it was to find and outdoor venue in Pekan/Kuantan that wouldn't cost too much. It took me months to find one and then I stumbled upon a picture on my Instagram explore (all hail Instagram!) that caught my attention; it was an outdoor wedding being held in a very beachy-garden kinda vibe. And guess what? The venue took place in Kuantan, near Sepat Beach! I was beyond ecstatic!

And the rest was history. I booked the place (mom didn't like it at first but thanks mom for agreeing! Hiks), and sort out all the things I had to do. We only invited around 400 people because we were on a tight budget. I guess it is a good thing that Ilham and I share the same circle of friends. Jimat budget hihi. On a serious note, I'm truly sorry if some of you weren't invited. Know that we would love to invite every one of you but it wasn't within our means. I'm apologize for that.

Of course, no wedding is perfect without hiccups right? As for mine, I wasn't happy with my wedding makeup AT ALL. Guys, I looked like a clown, like tepung gomak. I literally was crying inside because I knew I wasn't going to look beautiful. AM. STILL. CRYING. NOW. LOOKING. AT. THE. PICTURES. I trusted the MUA to do my makeup, I mean she only had ONE job; and she failed me sobs. She even used a foundation that was three tones lighter. Then people came to me and add more salt to my wound by saying "Nana makeup sendiri lagi cantik." Hm, like I don't know that already T__T

What else? Oh, the bridal that should be doing my dais was cancelled. Why? Because it was two weeks before my wedding and they barely reply my messages. I'm not exaggerating. They would reply my Whatsapp after a few days or weeks. I was so anxious already for my wedding, so I decided to cancel them. Thank god they returned my deposit. And I managed to find a replacement and the bridal owner saved everything.

Besides that, I think everything went great! Mom and sister were happy, the decorations were just like what I wanted, people were satisfied with the food, had a good time with family and friends and we even had BBQ session at night. Anyways, here are the details of my wedding. I'm not going to include the name of the MUA but if you feel like having a bawang sessions, you may DM me on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter hiks.

Latest Updates!

Naarabelle Facespa
My skin can't take this aging anymore, so I decided to go to my first ever facial (in 25 years lol) at Naarabelle Facespa. The price is slightly cheaper than the rest, thus the reason why I chose to go to this place instead. I did their signature Black Doll (carbon laser) therapy to get rid of my stubborn acne scars. if you're a student and planning to go there, you can get an extra 10% of discount. Just flash your student card and enjoy your treatment!

Warmth
Oh trust me, I loveeee everything to be warm lately, like literally. I love warm makeup, I love warm presets for photos (hint: I'm using VSCO M5 lately), I love it when my room is not too cold and I love warm drinks! Everything needs to be warm and I just don't know why. Anyone is going through the same transition as I am? No? OK.

Baby kittens
My cat Ili was heavily pregnant the last time I was back at home and now, she has delivered 4 little kittens. They are all black like her, not sure if I'm happy with that though. I mean, can't I have some color variety from her first litter? Lol. But I'm gonna claim one of them and take it with me to KL soon. I need a cat to entertain me here. What do you think I should call it? Any ideas?

MARA's placement
I feel like I need to explain this somewhere. A lot of you asked me whether I'm still teaching and where is my MRSM placement. To be honest, I'm not teaching at the moment nor did I get a placement from MARA. I'm not sure what's up but most of us English language students didn't get the placement. It was frustrating because I graduated way back in July 2016 and I'm still struggling to survive and waiting for a placement. I can't complain much though because everything's written but..

Discount code
If you don't know, I started a new Youtube channel last December and I thought what's better than giving my subscribers a DISCOUNT CODE, right? So yeah, you can now enjoy an RM5 off from every purchase of Velvet Vanity's products. Just use my code 'VVHUSNAWHO' during checkout to enjoy the discount. I do get some percentage with every purchase made. I hope you don't mind. You can check their products out HERE :)

Anyway, that's all the updates for now. I'll talk to you guys soon! Toodles!

Sabah Travelogue | Kota Kinabalu, Ranau & Kundasang

Hello everyone! I know it's been a while but I'm finally back here!

So lemme just update you guys a little bit about my life. Basically, last July I went to Sandakan Sabah as a substitute English teacher in MRSM Tun Mohammed Fuad Stephens. Since I was already in Sabah, I decided to travel to its major cities as well because, why not right? So my good friend Nad went all the wayyy from Kelantan to Sabah to go on a road-trip during my school holiday!

Long story short, we went island hopping, got sunburnt (we instagrammers call it sunkissed, sounds more fancy lol), drenched in rain, bitten by fish, tried local dishes and we even enjoyed our stay in a luxurious hotel. And since I believe that pictures worth a thousand words (more like I'm too lazy to write), here are some photos that I took during our trip!

And oh, guys, let us pray together that I will be constantly updating my blog this year. No more chipsmore, sekejap ada sekejap tak ada lol. Till next time! xx
